Prerequisites

Configuration

  1. Remove the rear cover of the oven.
  2. Remove the plastic cover protecting the PCB.
  1. Connect the USB-to-serial adapter to the debug pins. In order to use the automatic bootloader, all 5 pins must be connected as follows:

Connecting To The Oven

The following instructions apply to MacOS only, though Linux should be fairly similar.

  1. Plug the USB-to-serial adapter into your computer before plugging in the oven (at least in my case it only worked this way).

  2. Find the path to your adapter:

ls /dev/cu.*
  1. Open a screen session:
screen <path_to_adapter> 230400
  1. Plug in the oven.
